About Me

I come from a family where unusual professions are nothing out of the ordinary — among them a pilot, a nuclear physicist, and a dolphin trainer. With me, an organist was added to the list — a profession still quite rare in my home country, Armenia.

My fascination with the organ began during my school years, when I heard the instrument for the first time at a concert — an experience so overwhelming that I nearly fainted. From that moment on, I knew I had found my calling.

I began my formal studies in Armenia, majoring in piano and organ under Prof. Gayane Barseghyan and Prof. Vahagn Stamboltsyan. This was followed by organ studies at the Academy of Music in Kraków, Poland (class of Prof. Joachim Grubich) and later at the University of Music Lübeck in Germany with Prof. Martin Haselböck and Prof. Lorenzo Ghielmi.

Throughout my education and beyond, I have participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Daniel Roth, Louis Robilliard, Olivier Latry, Heinz Wunderlich, Wolfgang Zerer, and Harald Vogel, and have taken part in several international competitions. I am a recipient of the Audience Prize at the César Franck Organ Competition in Haarlem, the Netherlands.

As both a soloist and ensemble musician, I have performed in Poland, the Netherlands, France, Armenia, the United States, and Germany, where I currently reside. I have appeared in a wide range of concerts and collaborative projects with choirs and orchestras.
